For those of you who have already been to Anfield, you will have seen small purple containers around the stadium, which are reception points organised by ‘Fans supporting Foodbanks’, an foundation that helps the most disadvantaged. The foundation helps people in need mainly by giving them food and basic necessities.
During our official outings, Swiss Liverbirds always tries to bring a few bags of non-perishable food and other necessities to help the most needy. We usually drop in just before the match.
So think about it next time you’re at Anfield! If you don’t have time to pop into a supermarket, they also accept cash donations.
